Just John and a drummer named Sam. His voice is excellent and for 2 cats they make a ton of noise,. I believe John lives in Ontario. He tells the story that "Some kind of Wonderful" put all his kids thru school. It's great to hear a story from a musician who doesn't feel ripped off. He's a great gentleman. Joss Stone also did a rubbish version on her first albumn of covers. Like you say, the loose feel of this captures the sweaty club feel better than almost any track, heartfelt lyrics and fab groove. Who could ask for more?
